More Assignments
First thing I’m relatively happy with from Digital Landscape. Process: drawing the layout, refining and figuring out values in grayscale, colorizing for a color comp, then finally painting the finish. Similar process as above, but the tonal and color keys were done traditionally here.
Here are a few pages from my upcoming portfolio review…. Characters for an untitled project I was working on over my break… This was for an assignment to use light/color as a storytelling device. The rise of the sun is supposed to represent his newly gained freedom as he descends to the land below. When Timmy walked into the toy store he knew exactly what he wanted!
